Why is it that so many good ideas have such a perilous journey from inception to execution? Why is it that some teams within organisations make a difference and others can't? Why is it that some organisations are just so risk averse?
Dan Toombs is one of Australia's most awarded innovators. He has spent his career instigating innovation, founding and building organisations, interventions and ideas that simply put, make a difference. He has worked both in Australia and New York and has been awarded, the 2009 Australian Leadership Award, 2008 Catholic Social Justice Award, 2007 Winston Churchill Fellowship, 2006 National Human Rights Law Award and the 2006 Queensland Disability Award. He is a 2010 graduate of the prestigious, Harvard inspired, Queensland Leadership Program. Most recently, he instigated a "design thinking" organisation called Pokodot, that already is working with some of Australia's leading organisations in using technology to solve problems big, small and inbetween.

He uses his award-winning experience and the ground-breaking work of Dr Meredith Belbin, Everett Rogers, Malcolm Gladwell, IDEO's David Kelley, Behance's Scott Belsky and Charlene Li in developing teams that work! Simple!
